PWPW S.A. ON THE NEW POLISH PASSPORT – VIDEO PRESENTATION
 (31-08-2017)

Featuring in the presentation are Piotr Woyciechowski – President of the Board of Polska Wytwórnia Papierów Wartościowych S.A., and Paweł Kosiński – designer of the new passport.

The presentation was created in order to reinforce the reach of the social campaign entitled “Design the Polish passport with us”.

In 2018, on the 100 th anniversary of Poland’s regaining of its independence, a completely new passport will be introduced into circulation. The visa pages will feature nineteen art motifs associated with this anniversary.

The new passport will not only be a well-protected, modern travel document. The historical symbolism used in it may become an innovative medium of tales about Polish history.

Designed in this way, the passport has the chance to contribute to deepening the citizens’ identification with their country, and to increase the feeling of unity and pride in Polish history. It may also become an element of Poland’s historical policy.

Please check out the video that played on TVP2 on 31 August 2017 and vote for your favourite images that may be included in the new passport!
