On 20 November 2017, Polska Wytwórnia Papierów Wartościowych (Polish Security Printing Works) and the Police Academy in Szczytno signed a co-operation agreement. The Parties will work closely together in the implementation of training, research and scientific programmes and will draw on expert resources.
The joint undertakings provided for in the agreement include, among others, the organisation of post-graduate studies and first-cycle studies, the launch of a summer school in the field of information technology, and, in particular, in the area of cyber security. The agreement also includes lectures and specialist training on the security of public documents. This means that, in addition to joint courses or training, as a result of the development and research on the issue of cybercrime, experts from the Company and the Police Academy will draw up and publish materials and reports on the subject.
