In the presence of representatives of governmental and local administration, as well as representatives of IT companies, PWPW has presented a functional application for processing of the new IDs.
During the closed conference held at its registered seat PWPW has presented a functional application for processing of the new IDs. Mr Zdzisław Gawlik, Undersecretary of State from the Ministry of Treasury, was an honorary guest at the meeting. The conference has been attended also by the representatives of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, local administration, as well as the prepresentatives of IT companies, including but not limited to Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, VMWare, Fujitsu Technology Solutions, Zeto, Krajowa Izba Rozliczeniowa, Netia.
The experts assembled were presented with PWPW’s latest achievements in the field of electronic IDs, as well as the complete, functional application for document processing compliant with the requirements of the Act on Personal Identification Documents dated 6 August 2010. Representatives of the company have also presented the uniform concept, developed over a year ago, of implementing a new system for issuing personal identification documents. It has been modified in relation to the concept currently being executed by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration. However, in the opinion of many experts, it guarantees successful implementation of the pl.ID functionality, while at the same time significantly reducing the costs of the project. PWPW has used similar solutions when implementing the Vehicle/Driver systems or the Passport Information System.
