On Friday 12 July 2013, PWPW concluded an agreement with the Polish Ministry of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy regarding the production, processing and distribution of 100,000 ADR certificates required for transporting hazardous goods. The company was re-selected for the performance of this task.
The contract was signed as a result of a two-tier tender procedure held by the Ministry which PWPW had won. Under the agreement with the Ministry as well as agreements with Voivodship Marshals, PWPW will ensure the transmission of data for document personalisation, the production of 100,000 forms, their personalisation and distribution. The agreement was concluded for a period not exceeding 4 years.
Drivers submit applications for ADR documents to Marshal’s Offices which then relay them to PWPW for execution. Depending on the received instruction, the ready document is delivered to the location identified by the given driver or the Marshal's Office.
PWPW will also conclude agreements on the ADR certificate production with 16 Marshal’s Offices. However, they are all already connected with PWPW through the data transmission system. The Company has been performing a similar contract throughout the last months.
