| PWPW S.A. at the Gala of the Historical Event of the Year Competition | |

The Competition results were announced at the Palace of the Commonwealth on 7 June. The award in the “Event” category was given on behalf of PWPW S.A. by Mr Robert Malicki – Member of the Management Board.
Awards in three categories are given out in the Competition: Exhibition, Event, and Education & Multimedia. The winner in the “Exhibition” category was a temporary exhibition titled, “Glass, Metal, Detail. Gdynia’s Architecture in Detail”, which is an elegant example of unconventional look at Gdynia in the interwar period and just after World War II.
The statuette in the “Event” category – handed in by PWPW S.A. Management Board Member, Mr Robert Malicki – went to the organizers of the 40 th Anniversary of Radom Workers’ Protest in June 1976. The celebrations, held under the motto, “It all began in Radom”, showed the role of the city in striving for freedom and democracy.
The winner in the “Education and Multimedia” category was the Film Encyclopedia of the Silesian Uprisings, prepared by the Museum of the Silesian Uprisings in Świętochłowice. It presents the lives of the Silesian insurgents in the form of spoken history told by their living descendants.
