On Saturday, the 9th of June, another edition of the Scientific Picnic was held, organized by the Copernicus Science Centre and the Polish Radio at the National Stadium. The attractions prepared by the exhibitors for children and young people, as well as the sunny weather, attracted crowds of visitors.
This year, the Scientific Picnic brought together hundreds of families with children. Our stand was located in the main alley, next to the organiser's stand. We offered several attractions, which were very popular among children, youth and their parents.
The youngest could take part in educational workshops and then design their own banknote or stamp. For older children we prepared competitions with prizes, which were held at the PWPW stand all day long. The questions concerned the products and history of the Polish Security Printing Works, and the correct answers were awarded attractive prizes with the PWPW logo. In addition, each participant could receive a personalised souvenir card.
